Over the past year or so, after moving to ur new home, we spent a lot of time researching products that would be a budget friendly solution for some or our design dilemmas we encountered.  Amazon became a very reliable source for a lot of great and inexpensive solutions to our troubles.

Life is too short to not have the best products around! That’s why we’re here with a list of our favorite Amazon Must-Haves that became life changing for us. Best part – They’re all under $35, so read on and find out more about them today.

| 1 | Triple Utility Swivel Hook, Brushed Nickel

We get it, a hook is a hook, but these guys are multi-purposeful. We installed a few of these in our walk-in closets to hang “lightly worn clothes” that weren’t ready to be put in the laundry.  We also used these hooks as a focal point in our Guest Bath that gives our visitors plenty of room for their bath towel, robe, and anything they else needed while staying with us.  To give it a less industrial look, we sprayed painted them gold which matched our brass finishings a bit better.  Best $15 ever spent!

These LED lights come in a pack of 2, and are marketed for Garages, however, we had a very poorly lit basement, and decided to try these guys out, and we were not disappointed.  They instantly brightened up our basement, and was so easy to install, just a quick twist on like you would a normal light bulb and you’re all set!  We do recommend if you are thinking of using these lights in your Garage that you make sure LED’s do not interfere with your Automatic Garage Door Openers, which is a thing apparently, and the reason why we wouldn’t use these in ours!

| 3 | Non Slip Adhesive Rug Tape

A stubborn rug curl is no match for these non slip rug tape strips!  We’ve used these tape strips in several rooms including a curled edge in our Bedroom Rug and on our Kitchen Throw Rug laid on top of our Tile to prevent us from slipping and breaking our neck!  Such a simple yet versatile product that helps keep rugs in place and looking like new!

The Design for our Guest Room included two plug in wall sconces, but the only problem with the sconces we chose, was the cords weren’t long enough for the electrical socket, leaving our sconce cords diagonally hung.  Fortunately, we found these twin extension cord power strips that offered 6 feet of cord on either side.  Our design problems were solved with this $12.95 life changing Amazon Find.

| 5 | Floor Cord Protector Cable Shield

This next find is probably something you’ve seen before or heard of, but for us, this inexpensive cord cover was exactly what we needed to complete our Home Office Design.  Our space really required the desks to float in the middle of the room, but with no floor outlet, it left a bunch of wires in a free for all on the floor.  We sourced a lot of different solutions and these strip in particular matched our flooring almost perfectly, which not only hides our wires, but camouflages itself against our floors!

We had so many windows to dress in our new home so we were looking for an inexpensive option that still looked like an expensive upgrade.  While the drapery panels we purchased from Ikea, we added a bit of bougie by adding pinch pleats to our drapes using pleater tape hooks.  The easiest solution to create this look is finding drapery panels that already have the tape sewn into them.  That way, you can simply slide these hooks on using the 4 prongs and attach your drapery rings and hang on your rod.

| 7 | Light Bulb Socket Adapter Splitter

We actually found out about this amazing Amazon Find from an influencer on Instagram and thought it would work perfectly for our spare room! This smaller sized room, had one light source for one light bulb. But in a matter of minutes we tripled the amount of light.  This particular adapter can individual be adjusted to direct light at multiple angles, making it a truly a one stop fix it for most lighting solutions.

Another simple but surprising Amazon Find is this sleek socket surge protector.  This astounding product doesn’t just protect you against surges, it’s a great space saving device as well.  As one reviewer stated “This plug outlet converter is perfect for those odd placements that need multiple outlets but minimum space!”   For our space, we used this handy and sleek outlet to create our faux fireplace.  Our electrical outlet was located on the lower wall of where we wanted to create our backsplash.  By installing this in our outlet, we were able to still use this outlet to connect our electrical devices and television, but also place our backsplash right against our wall without interruption.

| 9 | 4-Pack Dusk to Dawn Light Bulb

Having sensor lightbulbs has been an amazing upgrade for our home.  Without the need to install pricey electrical outlets and timers these lightbulbs sense when to turn on and off by the based on the natural light.  No switch, no programming, just simply screw the lightbulbs in, and as it gets dark out, the automatically will light up, and when the sun comes up the next day, they’ll shut off.  These are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, but we’ve focus on using them primarily for our outdoor lighting solutions.

I was skeptical at first when I ordered these fence lights for the perimeter of our backyard fence, but I was pleasantly surprised.  Similar to our recommended Dusk to Dawn Light Bulbs, there’s no electrical installation or hardwiring needed.  These lights work off of solar energy, and even when not receiving direct sunlight, they still pack a powerful light source at night.  We also love their small and sleek design, which avoids them being an eyesore around your perimeter.  All in all, we love how easy and non-invasive these lights, and we definitely suggest these as an inexpensive option for your fences, decks, porches and more!
